St John Ambulance and OTR are joining forces this Thursday to install its sixth public access defibrillator at the Whyalla Playford OTR site.
They hope that the defibrillators could help to save lives in the Whyalla community in the case of sudden cardiac arrest.
The two organisations came together in May earlier this year to install defibrillators across the state to assist those saving lives in regional communities.
The OTR Chief Operating Officer says they are proud to support an investment which will ultimately save lives of South Australians and support regional communities.
St John’s “CPR Lab” will be at OTR Whyalla Playford on Thursday 18 October from 11am for a 1-hour CPR instruction session, allowing the public to test their CPR skills.
