Regional Communities are encouraged to apply for round 3 of the Building Better Regions Fund to score a share of $200 million.
Regional Tourism, infrastructure and local jobs are at the forefront of this round of funding with $45 million earmarked to increase tourism.
Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey says tourism is a vital component of regional communities, driving jobs, growth and many economic opportunities.
Under previous rounds Peterborough received almost $9 million funding to build a reticulated waste water management system and Port Pirie’s Regional Sports Precinct received $5 million.
