St John Ambulance and OTR are joining forces today to install its fourth public access defibrillator at the Port Augusta OTR site.
They hope that the defibrillators could help to save lives in the Port Augusta community in the case of sudden cardiac arrest.
The two organisations came together in May earlier this year to install defibrillators across the state to assist those saving lives in regional communities.
The OTR Chief Operating Officer says they are proud to support an investment that can potentially save lives.
There are currently public access defibrillators in Nuriootpa, Tailem Bend and Mannum with plans to install them in Whyalla and other locations on the Eyre Peninsula.
*The local Port Augusta community are invited to the OTR Port Augusta site from 11am – 12pm on the day to receive free CPR training by St John Ambulance SA*
