Police are continuing the search for a man wanted over serious offences after a nine-hour siege outside a home in Wallaroo on Monday.
Police attended a home on East Terrace in Wallaroo at around 1pm on Monday as they had reason to believe the single male occupant was inside the home.
The area was cordoned off and STAR Group officers were called to the scene, surrounding the property.
After around nine hours STAR Group Officers searched the house but did not find the man.
The 37-year-old is wanted for serious firearm offences however there is no information that suggests he is currently a threat to the general public.
Police investigations are continuing to locate the wanted man and anyone with information is asked to contact crime stoppers.
It is an on-going police investigation and the man is yet to be arrested and placed before the courts.
The Police Commissioner says the siege unrelated to similar incident in same town last month that involved 25-year-old Wallaroo man Jake Dohnt.
He was charged with 15 offences, including numerous counts of endangering life, assault and driving dangerously to escape police pursuit after a separate two-day manhunt in the Yorke Peninsula town.
