The Whyalla Council is conducting a review into its child-care service as a part of its commitment to providing a quality childcare service for the community.
The review will analyse the operation and then involve consulting and engaging with the community, comparing the centre against others and then making any recommendations.
The Council says the review is a part of local government obligations and it is an important component to determine what residents think of the Council-run facilities and the service provided.
The Whyalla Child Care Centre is a non-profit and government-subsidised community-based centre operated by Council.
The review is open to the community and locals are encouraged to undertake an anonymous survey online or hard copies available from the Whyalla Child Care Centre or Council offices in Civic Building on Darling Terrace.
