A Victorian man faced court on Friday following a Police pursuit on Thursday that began in Ceduna and ended in Warnertown.
At around 9 am police attempted to stop a silver Holden Commodore sedan travelling east on the Eyre Highway but later terminated the pursuit.
The car was later spotted near Iron Knob and despite efforts to spike the tyres the car continued driving.
The driver then failed to pay for petrol in Port Augusta before driving towards Port Pirie.
The car lost two tyres near Warnertown and pulled over, the driver ran from the vehicle but was quickly caught.
The 31-year-old Victorian man was arrested and charged with driving dangerously to escape police pursuit, two counts of making off without payment, unlawful possession and driving without a licence.
