Solution found to Whyalla Pool's leak

water.jpgYou’ll have to wait another couple of weeks before you can have a dip in the Whyalla Pool.
Council are hoping to get the main pool inside the Whyalla Leisure Centre back open on Friday February 23, after crews found a pipe they think will solve a leaking issue.
It took a while to find the pipe-council crews and contractors had to move tonnes of dirt to get to it-buried in a giant concrete block-but they now think that if they bypass it, it’ll fix the leak at the pool.
If everything goes smoothly, and-that includes the massive backfill and clean up needed, council are confident it’ll re open in two weeks.
