Port Augusta Police, CIB, Detectives with the assistance of a drug detection dog, uncovered the largest seizure of XLR11, ever in South Australia, as well as other drugs, fireworks and weapons on Thursday (27/11/14)
This is after recent searches of 14 addresses in the Far North Local Service Area as part of a local drug operation targeting the sale or supply of illicit drugs in the area
XLR11 is dissolvable in liquid, and used to coat vegetable matter to create synthetic cannabis. Police found approximately 500 grams of a white powder, which is estimated could be used to produce about 100,000 doses
Police will also allege they located drugs, plants, stolen items and weapons.
A 30-year-old Roxby Downs man and a 52-year-old Port Augusta man have been arrested, two others were reported for weapons offences
