A man who allegedly harassed women at Sydney's Bondi Beach has been arrested in the ocean after a two-hour stand-off with police.
Police say the 38-year-old Woollahra man fled into the water when officers approached him on Thursday afternoon and stayed there for two hours.
Lifeguards, an off-duty officer, a police helicopter crew and water police became involved and the man was eventually apprehended in the water at the southern end of the beach.
He was granted conditional bail to front Waverley Local Court on March 3.
