A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a police pursuit in which an allegedly stolen car was driven on the wrong side of a Brisbane highway.
The driver of an orange Honda Jazz allegedly failed to stop for police at Carole Park, south of Brisbane, about midnight on Friday night.
Police tracked the car using a helicopter as it travelled on the Warrego Highway, dropping three passengers off at Fernvale.
Officers used a tyre deflation device after the driver allegedly drove on the wrong side of the highway.
Police say the car continued travelling on the Ipswich Motorway and Ipswich Road where it crashed into at least one other vehicle.
The vehicle was stopped by police at Rocklea about 12.45am and the teenager arrested.
A large amount of suspected stolen property, including handbags, was seized from the car.
