A woman has been charged after she assaulted a police officer while under arrest over a burglary and fraud on Sydney's northern beaches.
The 20-year-old woman was arrested at a Dee Why unit on Saturday after investigations into a burglary at Freshwater and linked frauds in Dee Why. Relevant items were seized from the unit.
The woman was taken to Manly Police Station where it's alleged she kicked a female constable while in custody, causing minor injuries.
The woman has been charged with 13 offences including assaulting a police officer, breaking and entering, and dishonestly obtaining property by deception. She was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
