Two men have been charged with making a bomb near the Victorian-NSW border, with guns, a taser and drugs also discovered during a police raid on the property.
Four local men aged in their 30s were arrested after the improvised explosive device was found at West Wodonga on Friday, alongside the weapons, drugs, and suspected stolen ski and camping gear.
Two of the men, aged 36 and 32, have been remanded in custody to appear at the Wodonga Magistrates Court on Monday charged with making an explosive device, trafficking ecstasy, weapons possession and firearms offences.
Another man, 34, has been charged over unrelated matters and bailed to appear on Monday.
A fourth man, also 34, has also been bailed to front court on September 10 charged with possessing ammunition as a prohibited person.
The bomb squad was called in after the explosive device was found at the Macpherson Street property on Friday before it was made safe and the scene cleared.
Police have stressed there is no threat to the community.
