A 35-year-old allegedly drunk-driver is accused of running a red light in Sydney's south, hitting a pedestrian and driving off.
Police say the driver of the white ute hit a 49-year-old man, who suffered minor injuries to leg, on the Kingsway, Cronulla late Saturday night and failed to stop.
Police say they arrested the driver a short time later and he returned a breath analysis of 0.162.
He was charged with drive dangerously and high-range PCA and is due to face Sutherland Court in June.
