The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is undertaking road shoulder works on the Augusta Highway, between Collinsfield and Redhill starting today.
The works were delayed due to inclement weather but are scheduled to be completed in September.
Works will be undertaken Monday to Saturday between 7am and 5:30pm.
To safely undertake these works traffic will be reduced to a single lane, intermittently as required, with temporary traffic signals in place to control the direction of traffic.
Speed restrictions will also be in place throughout the work area.
Outside of working hours, the highway will open to traffic in each direction with temporary speed restrictions in place.
Road users are asked to please plan ahead and expect delays.
