Audiences in Port Pirie will be the first to have the opportunity to experience the works and worldviews of Aboriginal artists working independently across regional South Australia.
Country Arts SA’s Saltbush Country exhibit, Partnering with Tarnanthi, marks the region’s first locally curated visual arts show.
Port Pirie will exclusively host the exhibition, led by Tarnanthi Regional Curator Marika Davies, ahead of its Adelaide season.

Featuring weaving, painting, sculpture, and more, the exhibition reflects diverse communities and their deep ties to culture and Country.
It runs from Sep 23 to Nov 5 at Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery before heading to Adelaide until next March.
