This year’s Clare Valley Gourmet Week drew nearly 10,000 attendees and contributed over $3 million to the local economy.
The event, held without Covid-related restrictions, saw an increase in attendance and visitor spending compared to last year.
However, wine sales were slightly down, with only 41.2% of attendees purchasing wine to take home, compared to 63.3% last year.

Despite this, organizers hope that attendees will become brand ambassadors and continue enjoying Clare Valley wines in the future.
The event’s success was attributed to promotional efforts and support from partners.
