A man has lost his licence after being caught drink driving in Port Pirie over the weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Police were contacted by a member of the public advising of a motor vehicle being driven erratically in the Port Pirie area.
Police stopped the car for the purpose of a driver test and directed the driver, a 40-year-old man from Greenwith, to submit to a breath test where he returned a positive result of 0.146.
The man was reported for drink driving, he was issued a six month immediate loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
