Vietnam - One In, All In Exhibition
Mon 5 Aug 2019 to Sat 14 Sep 2019
Yarta Purtli Gallery - Port Augusta Cultural Centre presents
Vietnam - One In, All In
A contemporary exhibition which explores and acknowledges Aboriginal veterans service in the Vietnam War.
This exhibition will feature a colletion of works by 12 Aboriginal artists, as a means to give voice to those who served diligently and often without proper recognition for their efforts.
The works capture personal stories and the military history of Indigenous South Australian veterans and gives us time to reflect and honour their work and achievements.
For those who survived and those who didn't make it home, for country and culture, we will remember.
